| 10:51a | Busy Weekend Binh and Diem were in town from the Bay Area so we kicked off the weekend meeting them and a few other friends at Bandar downtown for dinner. Then we walked over to Yardhouse for some drinks and catch up and "story-time". Saturday we went to the expo to pick up Javi's race stuff and then to the hospital to meet the new baby! Elan Cruz Medina was born April 19, 2007. A whopping 8lbs, 1oz with a FULL head of hair. Elan is so adorable, we love him already. Congratulations to Lena and JR!
Sunday was a busy day. Took Javi to the starting line at 6am. Came back home to walk Chile and get ready then headed over to the finish line at La Jolla Cove. It was a beautiful day and perfect place to end the La Jolla Half Marathon. Our intent was to go home and rest but Javi's cousins came over with their 5 year old son and of course we wanted to play so no nap time for us.
Sunday night we went to the Gwen Stefani concert with Akon as the opening act, Sujin, Lisa and Lydia came with us too. Akon sang a lot of good songs that I didn't even know were his songs! Gwen was good but I definitely liked her ballads (slower songs) better than the fast "gangsta shit" she thinks she can do. The concert as a whole was pretty fun and luckily it didn't start raining until it was over.
